Six months on from the start of the Arab Spring, the latest IBR results suggest that businesses around the world are counting the cost of unrest in the Middle East and North Africa but the region’s long-term growth prospects remain bright. As the region continues to experience major political change, 22% of privately owned companies say the unrest has had a negative impact on their business. But just 10% are now less likely to do business in the region.
