Provisional license as Audit Firm under State Oversight
(pursuant to the Swiss Audit Oversight Act, AOA of December 16, 2005)
On the 20 December 2007, our group companies Grant Thornton AG and Grant Thornton Wirtschaftsprüfung AG, both have obtained the provisional licence as state oversight audit firms and were entered into the register. With this rating, both companies now have the right to perform audit services under the new Federal Act on the Licensing and Oversight of Auditors as from 1 January 2008.

Oversight Act, AOA
The Federal Act on the Admission and Oversight of Auditors came into force on 1 September 2007. This Act governs the admission and supervision of persons providing auditing services. It is intended to ensure that auditingservices are provided properly and that they meet certain quality standards.
